Ancestors of Elizabeth HOUSTON LCQS-81W

My paternal grandmother was born in Dumbarton, Scotland of an Irish-born father and a mother who came from Westmorland, England.  Her Houston father’s family has so for proved elusive apart from a mention in one Griffith’s Valuation that shows his was only Houston family living in Ballymoney, Co Antrim at that time. The Bensons and Bellasis families have much deep roots in the Lake District.
